

The Technical Acquisition Support Services (TASS) contract provides direct technical services to the Air Force Space and Missile Systems Center. QSS will provide engineering support services to SMC System Program Offices (SPOs). SMC, located at Los Angeles AFB, California, develops and acquires all Air Force and most Department of Defense space systems, acquires space launch vehicles, launches all national security space systems, completes on-orbit checkouts, and then turns systems over to user agencies. SMC SPOs develop and acquire Military Satellite Communications (MILSATCOM) Systems, Defense Meteorological Satellites (DMS), NAVSTAR Global Positioning Systems (GPS), Space Based Infrared Systems (SBIRS), Space Based Radar, Satellite and Launch Control Systems, and Space Superiority Systems. In addition, SMC also develops and acquires Legacy Launch Vehicles (Atlas, Delta, and Titan), Evolved Expendable Launch Vehicles (EELV) and land-based intercontinental ballistic missiles.
The contract is intended to provide a broad range of system-oriented technical and management services to SMC program offices, staff directorates, and other operating locations. These include, but are not limited to, the following Core Competencies (and their associated sub-elements):

TASS Ordering Information
Delivery orders for the TASS BPA may be placed by using QSS' GSA Federal Supply Schedule Group 70 (GSA Schedule 70), which contains all the necessary ordering information including labor categories, labor rates, and labor category descriptions. Our schedule also includes all pertinent administrative data, including points of contact (POCs), mailing and billing addresses, and corporate classifications.
