QSS Group, Inc. was founded in 1994 as a technology services firm serving federal agencies in the areas of aerospace science and engineering and information technology. The company was built on the idea that delivering solutions--that actually perform as promised--is an excellent way to satisfy customers. By steadfast adherence to this principle, QSS has experienced phenomenal success, measured by consistently high award fees on performance-based contracts, revenue growth, customer base and workforce expansion and recognition by industry and business evaluators. Our first contract was awarded in 1994.

Our first customer was the National Aeronautics and Space Administration's Goddard Space Flight Center. Initially, we performed engineering and database services. This led to a second GSFC contract to provide client/server applications development and IT security. With a successful early track record on these programs, QSS built a firm base at NASA and NOAA.

QSS continued to expand business with federal entities including the Defense Threat Reduction Agency, Department of Homeland Security, Department of the Army, Department of the Navy, Department of the Air Force, National Weather Service, Housing and Urban Development, Treasury Department, Executive Office of the President, and the Intelligence Community.

Originally a small business, QSS has become a successful mid-sized company. We have a number of active contract vehicles to facilitate teaming and subcontracting relationships. QSS maintains indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) prime contracts with the Department of Commerce (COMMITS NexGen), Treasury (TIPSS-3), Homeland Security (DHS EAGLE), GSA Millennia Lite, U.S. Army (ITES), U.S. Air Force (TASS), GSA Schedule 70 (IT Services) and PES Schedule (Engineering Services).
