QSS Group, Inc. was awarded a DHS EAGLE contract in two unrestricted Functional Categories on this indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract to provide enterprise support to the Department of Homeland Security. QSS was selected in Functional Category 1, Infrastructure Engineering Design, Development, Implementation and Integration; and 4, Software Development. QSS is honored to be the only mid-sized firm awarded a contract in these highly competitive EAGLE contract categories.   On the restricted track, QSS was awarded Functional Category 2, Operations and Maintenance.

The EAGLE program builds on QSS's strong track record of service to the DHS where we are currently performing on our $300M follow-on contract with the United States Coast Guard, Systems Engineering and Technical Services II (SETS II), supporting their Operations Systems Center (OSC). The OSC is the Coast Guard's Center of Excellence for Software Development and their largest and most successful Government Owned Contractor Operated facility. We look forward to continued partnership with the DHS via task order awards on the EAGLE contract.

Functional Capabilities

On the DHS EAGLE contract, QSS Group, Inc. can provide all the functional capabilities shown in the following Functional Categories:

Functional Category 1 - Infrastructure Engineering Design, Development, Implementation, and Integration
Support for any and all phases of system design and development through deployment to ensure DHS IT solutions will enable users to meet their mission goals and objectives. This includes the full range of infrastructure engineering design, development, implementation and integration, including, but not limited to, concept development, planning, requirements definition and analysis, systems design and development, integration, implementation, and deployment.

Functional Category 2 - Operations and Maintenance
The Contractor shall provide any and all operations and maintenance (O&M) solutions, processes, and procedures necessary to sustain systems within the DHS Enterprise at the highest levels of service and availability consistent with cost, schedule, and performance objectives.   These solutions may be required across the DHS Infrastructure, to include, but not limited to, the following operational areas: Data Center, Help Desk and Field Support Services (e.g., Desk-side support and LAN Administration), Network and Security Operations, and Collaboration Services (e.g., E-mail, Voice, and Video Services).   This functional category includes the full range of O&M solutions, from maintaining and upgrading individual pieces of hardware and software to full managed service solutions.

Functional Category 4 - Software Development
Support for any and all phases of software design and development including deployment to ensure DHS applications and databases will enable users to meet their mission goals and objectives. This includes the full range of software design, development, implementation and integration, including, but not limited to, concept development, planning, requirements definition and analysis, systems design and development, coding and testing, production, deployment, implementation, integration, and software application maintenance .
