John Caldwell, Senior Vice President

John Caldwell has extensive senior government executive experience in the defense industry. He has more than twenty years experience planning and executing military research, development and acquisition programs. Prior to joining QSS, John served nearly 37 years in the United States Army. He was a General Officer for eight of those years, retiring as a Lieutenant General. His final position was Military Deputy to the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Acquisition, Logistics and Technology, with responsibility for oversight and direction of the Army's Research, Development and Acquisition (RDA) programs. Some other key positions included: Commanding General, US Army Tank-automotive and Armaments Command; Deputy Chief of Staff (RDA), Army Materiel Command; Director, Army Digitization Office. He earned a Master of Science Degree in mechanical engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science Degree from the United States Military Academy, West Point.
